Jul 11, 2009 Poured a really dirty brown, like sewer water, but a beautiful 2-finger head with fine lacing. Promising aroma of caramel, roasted apricot, burnt brown sugar. An intriguing sour and bitter flavor mixes in with the rich malts and pitted fruit.
A fun twist on the dubbel style. Curious about aging?

Jun 8, 2009 33cl bottle @ Biertempel, Brussels. Pours dark unclear brown with a small white head and lacings. Nose is sweet of dark fruits, alcohol and caramel. Smooth palate. A quite vinous and pleasant drink with a bit warmth from alcohol.
