330ml bottle. Minimally cloudy golden colour with huge, frothy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Fruity and yeasty aroma. Taste is yeasty, minimally spicy, slightly bitter hoppy, subtle sweetness combines with a floral touch. Nice.

Bottle from Woudeberg, Wageningen. I think these Urthel beers are quite nice. Golden pour with a good white head. Lots of fruits in the aroma. Very refreshing taste. Well carbonated. Kicks in with a very good bitter bite. Bitterish aftertaste with some citrus and hops. Good!

ersma: ein weiteres exemplar aus der zwergen-brauerei. saison ist eine recht seltene sorte.
goldgelb, trübe mit viel schaum, der recht stabil ist.
der geruch ist fruchtig-blumig mit kräuternoten.
der antrunk ist säuerlich-fruchtig, bitter mit fruchtigen aromen von zitrus und herben kräutern. hefe ist auch dabei. die mitte wird blumiter, süßliche töne kommen hinzu, dazu wird es herber. der abgang ist herb, süßlich-fruchtig.
die flasche zeigt nur einen kleinen zwerg, ist ansehnlich.
fazit: schön ausgewogenes bier. allein schon probierenswert, weil einem die sorte so selten in die hände fällt.

Bottle @ home. Hazy yellow with a lasting white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, wheaty, yeasty and light spicy. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 280213

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are malt, grass, straw, citrus, fruits and hops.

330 ml bottle, pouredf carefully into a tulip glass. ABV 6%.
Yellow golden in colour, with a big head on top, almost three fingers tall. Snow white in colour, with very good retention, but no lacing left on the glass. The body has some microscopic pieces floating in it, but in no case make this beer cloudy.
Aroma is of wheat mainly, with notes of the yeast, a bit of banana and generally sort of fruity aromas.
NIce taste, again lots of wheat, dough, some yeast here too, I think I noticed some light orange taste somewhere on the background as well, and a nice bitter aftertaste, with a medium finish.
Medium thick on the body, average carbonation.
Overall, a very nice beer, I forgot and filled up my glass after a couple of sips, thus pouring all the yeast in, making it the taste a bit blunt, but up untill then, it was a fantastic beer.

Bottle from Whole Foods El Segundo. Fresh, lively citrusy aroma, with some grassy notes. Very pale straw color, fluffy white head, and good lace. Tart and slightly bitter orange and lemon / some light bitterness and grass / final is lemony and smooth. Thin body. Interesting balance or tension between the bitter notes and the citrus ones. Saison characteris muted. Good.

Bottle from beernavigator. Pours golden and hazy with a big fluffy white head. Typical saison scents of spicies, yeast, lemonzest and grassy hops. Fresh, zesty with a lot of character. Intense yeasty teste, spicy with mild white pepper, koriander seed, pomerans peel and lemon zest. A grassy hopppy bitterness in the end completes the drink. Really good.

Pours lightly cloudy golden orange color with a nice 2 finger dense and fluffy white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice foamy lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of big lemon, pear, apple, grape, coriander, floral, grass, honey, pepper, and earthy yeast spices. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/peppery notes. Taste of lemon, pear, apple, coriander, bread, honey, pepper, floral, grass, clove, and earthy yeast spiciness. Lingering notes of citrus, light fruits, coriander, bread, honey, floral, pepper, and earthy yeast spices on the finish for a good bit. Great balance and complexity of fruity/peppery flavors; with zero cloying flavors present after the finish. Medium-high carbonation and medium bodied; with a very smooth and crisp mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is an excellent saison! Great complexity and balance of flavors; and extremely smooth to drink. A highly enjoyable offering.
