Poured straw with a tight white head. Aroma of buttery caramels and peppery spiciness. This is a yeast driven beer. It starts sweet with the malts, then goes into the yeast derived flavors, and finishes dry with a firm bitterness.

Hazy golden coloured body with a large white frothy head. Aroma of hay, grass, yeast and a bit of coriander seed and curacao. Medium-bodied; Assertive grass and hay flavours with some large yeast and wheat presence with a touch of sweet flavours at the end - apples and pears. Aftertaste is dry and pungent with a little hop taste and a lot of saison flavours throughout with a hint of a biere de garde essence. Overall, a good and potent beer - a nice one to sample, especially at under one €. I sampled this 33 cL bottle purchased from La Bier Tempel in Bruxelles, Belgium on 02-January-2011 sampled on a train from Bruxelles to Amsterdam on 02-January-2011.

draft at Blue Monk, pours a lighter yellow orange with smaller white head. lighter aroma, light floral fruitiness. Taste is easy going but somewhat muted. No dominate flavors, light fruity yeastiness, light bitterness. An unobtrusive, easy drinking Belgian

Pours a hazy yellow color with a tick, pillowy white head. Pleasant aroma of wheat, spices and fruity esters. The flavor is quite good and refreshing, there’s a nice balance between the wheat, the fruity esters and the spices. The body is medium to full while the texture is oily and the carbonation is medium. This is very interesting, it’s very close to a german hefe-weizen.

I drakn this from a 12oz bottle into a tulip...The beer pours a dark peach color, weird looking, with any carbonation at all...The smell and taste are both dominated by syrup and bouron, super sweet with alcohol. A little oak, a very boozy finish. The feel is ok, can’t drink much of this...This is too boozy to drink a lot of or make it very good. Worth trying but not worth going out of your way to get.

Very big white head on top of a clear yellow orange beer.
Smell honey, spices, hops, piss and a hint of sweets.
Taste honey, malts, wheat, sweets, fruit, pear, abricot and a fresh hint of hops and spices.
Aftertaste is a mix of sweets, fruit and bitter.
Medium carbo, low to medium body, soft mouthfeel and a watery texture.

A big fluffy white head sits atop this beer and slowly collapses. The beer itself is semi clear golden with yeast sediment that is suspended. An aroma of light fruit and spices that include coriander. Some yeast and funk, too. Hop dry bitterness begins the flavor. The spices seem to be from hops, as well. Light fruit. Wheat is noted with some hefe flavors. Some lemon is also noted. This is tasty and refreshing.

In short: A Belgian blonde ale with a bit of a pilsner and german hefe flavors thrown in. Very enjoyable thirst quencher
How: Bottle 330ml. Consumed a week after receiving it through private importation but probably about 6 months old already
The look: Mostly clear blonde body topped by a medium long-lasting white head leaving lots of lacings on the glass
In long: Nose of lemongrass, some fruit flavored bubble gum, some bananas. Taste has some nice smooth almost bready pale malts, lemon zest, commercial cheddar, pineapples, bananas, dry grass. The citric/lemony and dry grassy hops provide a mild bitterness and a mild dryness. Much drier than the average Belgian blonde ale. Lively carbonation like I’ve come to expect from a classic Belgian brewery. This beer felt like the meeting of a light Belgian blonde ale, a german pilsner and a german hefe. This is not a complex beer nor is it a very tasty one. But it is refreshing, a bit nourishing and a lot of fun. I enjoyed that beer. Another beer I would drink in large quantities. My body used to be my temple, but now it feels and looks like a fermentation tank.

bottle@home: if I am reading this right, my bottle must be less than 1 week old, which is how this tastes like, strong, fresh, bitter hops, it pours a very hazy yellow with a big head that doesn’t last long, smells of citrus & hops, the taste is dominated by bitter hops, citrus, wheat and has a very small hint of spice & banana in and some minor grass, the carbonation is decent but the body itself seems a bit too thin, nice beer but the bitterness although not bad, kind of overpowered everything, I was left a bit wanting for other things, even though I liked it, an older bottle might work better, unless if you are a hophead
