Unfiltered in bottle, filtered in keg.
Ingredients: Water, Barley malt, Wheat (20%), Sugar, Yeast.
First brewed in November 2009. Top-fermented blond bottle conditioned beer. Urthel Saisonnière has a wide range of rich aromas and a subtle bitter taste. at 6.0% abv it is a thirst-quenching beer with a "bite". It produces a beautiful foam head due to the 20% of wheat. To fully enjoy Urthel Saisonnière, first pour half the bottle, then give it a twist (3x) to release the yeast and the wheat from the bottom and then pour the rest of the bottle into the glass.

Bottle 33cl. A lightly cloudy yellow beer with good carbonation, huge head and good lacing. Smell is very yeast like. Aroma is quite sweet, with good body and malty notes, some bitterness and astringence at the finish with a nice spicy hops. Not too lemony, very long aftertaste, a good triple kind of beer, a bit oily.

330 ml bottle.
Pours a slightly unclear yellow colour with a frothy, thick, lacy head. Aroma of very strong citrus with floral notes. Flavour of wheat, citrus, mild banana, floral hops. Medium bodied, pleasant mouthfeel with some dryness too. Definitely a summer brew.

330mL Bottle, purchased at Bottles - Providence, RI. Fluffy, light super dry nose of crisp, snappy pilsner malt and light fruit aromatics. Refreshing and wonderful. Pours in a slightly hazy paler golden, with plenty of ultrawhite, lacing head above. Fresh flavors carry the crackery pilsner malt further and bring some nice juicy hops, a spicy, herbal quality too. Delightfully dry, but with a nice long hop and yeast character finish. This is great. Well done.

My beer supplier was nice enough to trade me this for an imperial stout. Hazy, light in color, translucent head. Aroma of bananas primarily. Bitter aftertaste. Flavors of juniper and banana. Nice fizzy quality. Very lucky to get this one.

11.2 oz bottle. Cloudy golden yellow with a thick, foamy pure white head. Aroma of spicy yeast, noble hops, bread, apple and light wheat. The flavor is bitter earthy hops, lightly sour yeast and bready malt. Light body with lively carbonation and a crisp, refreshing finish. Lots of flavor but still very light and super drinkable. I could drink this by the 6 pack if it weren’t so expensive.

Pours a bright golden yellow with a big flufftastic head that was like a cloud of deliciousness. Smelled of lemon zest, some hay and bit of earthy hops a bit subdued compared to other saisons though Taste was mostly of Lemon, pepper, earth and hops. Fairly simple and clean and definitely delicious The beer has a nice light feel to it but I would not call it thin. It is the kind of beer you can drink all day. Would certainly buy more of this and a great one to introduce someone to the style.
