Ingredients: Water, Barley malt, Wheat (20%), Sugar, Yeast.
First brewed in November 2009. Top-fermented blond bottle conditioned beer. Urthel Saisonnière has a wide range of rich aromas and a subtle bitter taste. at 6.0% abv it is a thirst-quenching beer with a "bite". It produces a beautiful foam head due to the 20% of wheat. To fully enjoy Urthel Saisonnière, first pour half the bottle, then give it a twist (3x) to release the yeast and the wheat from the bottom and then pour the rest of the bottle into the glass.

Draught @ Akkurat. Pours golden, big white head, semi hazy. Earthy, (belgian) yeasty nose. Flowery taste with notes of berry sweetness and white pepper. Ends hoppy and bitter in a currant seeds way. Maybe a little too sharp.

Bottle. Golden, hazy, average to large and mostly diminishing head. Moderate, malty and lightly sweetish aroma, light fruitiness, some citrus and spiciness (pepper). Body is medium, malty and lightly sweetish, spiciness (pepper), yeastiness. Finish is average, malty and dryish, some pepper and alcohol. OK dryish strong ale, pepper – otherwise not much spiciness.

Embrouille (2830) - SWITZERLAND - FEB 6, 2011
Bottled 33cl. Courtesy of Bov. It pours a hazy golden beer with a tall white head. The aroma is yeasty, reminiscent of apple, pear, a lot of melon, white pepper and cork. Very belgian. Strong carbonation. There is a nice bite to this beer. Medium bodied. Nice lacework. Dry finish. Pleasant, refreshing and very true to the style. Thanks a lot Bov!

Bottle from Beer Ritz, Leeds. Pissy yellowy gold colour with some haze and a lingering white cuff. Appealingly fragrant and earthy nose, with citrus, yeast and honey notes. Fullish mouthfeel. Flavour displayed similar qualities to the nose with some lemon rind and decent hoppage. Big fruity, bitter finish. A really satisfying and tasty brew.Thumbs up.

Ikke et av mine favoritt-øl... lite fylde og kort ettersmak. Et øl som har lite sødme, og hadde hatt godt av mere alkohol og smak.

DruncanVeasey (7322) - NUNEATON, CONF N, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - JAN 16, 2011
UPDATED: FEB 17, 2012 1) Brilliant straw-coloured beer with a dimpled, subsiding collar. Fresh, zesty aroma begging that first sip; lemon and lime peel over a biscuity malt base. Hopped-up and mouth-drying (for a Belgian) with more fresh-shaved pith, lemon sherbet, botanicals and pilsner-type biscuit combined with a generous parting bitterness. Top stuff. 2) Bottle, Comptoir Des arts, Brugge, 15/02/12. Dusty gold with a massive, uneven bloom of foam and clouds of lace: handsome, well conditioned brew. Peppered hay and old lemon aroma. Soft, lemony, light bitterness and pepper. Dryish finish. Old/cooked lemon bitterness. Not bad. 747414.
