On tap. Light bitter aroma, with some jasmine, honey, and light pilsner malt. Mild floral hops and a bit of orange peel. Golden amber clear with light haze, topped with thin white lacing head. Medium body with heavy carbonation. Starts dry with pilsner malt sweetness, and tons of hop bitterness. Some jasmine and grapefruit, with chalky dry finish and bitter after. Good saison but a little bitter.

On tap at Paradiso. Pours a slightly hazy yellow with a thin, white head that has little retention and no lace. Sweet tripel nose with candi sugar, pineapple, dried orange peel, floral hops. Taste is dry, hoppy, soapy- the spicy, floral notes come into play in the body making it seem like you’re drinking perfume.

Bottle from Dranken Geers, Oostakker, Gent, Belgium, 19-02-10 consumed 02-03-10 Pours pale lemon with a sparse white head, reasonable clarity. Touch of lemon on the nose and maybe some sherbert, these two were also present in the mouth, but really it was sort of sweetened soft lemony feel and flavour’s coming through. Decent old fashioned sort of bitterness, not bad at all. A6 A4 F6 P4 Ov12 3.2
