Unfiltered in bottle, filtered in keg.
Ingredients: Water, Barley malt, Wheat (20%), Sugar, Yeast.
First brewed in November 2009. Top-fermented blond bottle conditioned beer. Urthel Saisonnière has a wide range of rich aromas and a subtle bitter taste. at 6.0% abv it is a thirst-quenching beer with a "bite". It produces a beautiful foam head due to the 20% of wheat. To fully enjoy Urthel Saisonnière, first pour half the bottle, then give it a twist (3x) to release the yeast and the wheat from the bottom and then pour the rest of the bottle into the glass.

330ml bottle from Tartu, hazy gold colour, medium frothy white head, good lacing. Moderately malty and very sweet aroma of cookie, wheat and hay with moderate to heavy fruity yeast esters and some trace amounts of hops. Taste is initially a lot less sweet than the smell, spicy and fairly acidic, fairly long slightly bitter and sour finish, Medium body, slick mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Not the most complex of saisons I’ve come across but quite enjoyable and not overly boring still.

Poured from 12 oz. bottle. Hazy yellow golden with thick fluffy sustainable head. Solid lacing. Peculiarly familiar aroma that I couldn’t put my finger on. Citrus, lemon particularly, with some earthy funkiness. Taste is spicy yeast with more lemon. Very crisp and quaffable.

Had a bottle at Koht. Yellow colour with big white head. Nose veering between floral, lemony and spicy - quite nice. Tastes fruity and wheaty sweet initially, then the spiciness and bitterness jump forward. Medium body, medium carbonation, palate slighty too grainy for my liking. Overall rather enojoyable and refreshing.
