11. 2 fl. oz. bottle, from Vinmonopolet. ABV is 6.0%. Very pale yellow colour, huge white head. Typical aroma of saison yeast, fruity and spicy notes. The flavour is fairly crisp and spicy, not too sweet. Distinct bitterness in the finish.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft at Fountainhead. Nose is interesting at first, with lemon, cloves & banana jumping out, as well as some DMS notes. Some plastic as well. On tastes, it is just too phenolic with some medicinal and plastic notes coming through as well as the banana and cloves. Very good level of bitterness to balance. This could be good, just too many bad phenols. Meh.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, bought @ Alvinne Beershop.
Pours pale golden with a slight haze to it. Big, staying, creamy, white head. Lots of bubbles seething upwards. Mild and kinda malty aroma, some green apple peel, light sweetness, some hay, High carbonation, fine and light dryish mouthfeel. Flavour is mild and elegantly put together. Good maltiness, some fruity notes (notably apple, pear and grapes). Fair fruity bitterness with a piney edge. Light peppery touch in the end. Good.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle: Pours a clear gold color with a nice white head. The nose is lightly spicy with some sweet malt, alcohol and fruity esters. The flavor is yeasty with a nice coriander snap. A little clean and fruit for me, I like a little more funk, but good.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Superb beer! Poured with a huge off white foamy frothy thick fluffy head and lots of lace. Color is a slightly hazy amber. Aroma is yeast bananas malt candy sugar hop. Flavor is fairly dry and like aroma, minus the banana. Body is excellent, mouth filling and crisp carbonation. Finish is bitter dry with only suggestions in there somewhere of some sweetness and has short to medium length. Very thirst quenching.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
20100613 11.2 oz bottle from State Line I think, though it may have been from Honeygo. Not sure why this one is not listed under saison, that’s odd. Pretty hazed blond with a mountainous white head, fading in glacial rocky slopes. Aroma at first is grassy and wheaty, with just a tinge of peppery yeast. With some temp, an off aroma of rubber bands emerges and some very mild salad greens. Odd, and not entirely lovely. With more temp, those off aromas abate. Strange. Flavor luckily does nothing to further those aromas, and it’s just a simply done although very hoppy blond. Body is lofty, aggressively but evenly carbonated, and long lingering bitterness, which is both dry-grass earthy and black pepper yeasty.
