COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Unfiltered in bottle, filtered in keg.
Ingredients: Water, Barley malt, Wheat (20%), Sugar, Yeast.
First brewed in November 2009. Top-fermented blond bottle conditioned beer. Urthel Saisonnière has a wide range of rich aromas and a subtle bitter taste. at 6.0% abv it is a thirst-quenching beer with a "bite". It produces a beautiful foam head due to the 20% of wheat. To fully enjoy Urthel Saisonnière, first pour half the bottle, then give it a twist (3x) to release the yeast and the wheat from the bottom and then pour the rest of the bottle into the glass.

Light golden colour with small white head. It’s something between Heffeweizen and Tripel, contains the best of each kind. Simply wonderful, so soft, so nice...really pleasant.

A decent saison, this pours a murky medium gold, tinged orange, with a large but quickly fading white head that leaves a bit of lace as it goes. Nose is nice --- yeasty and spicy --- but it would be nice if it were stronger. Flavor is nice as well. The yeast and spices are here, but with some moderate hops bitterness in the finish that makes the flavor a bit more complex than the nose.

Bottle, 33cl, Geers. Pours hazy yellow, wheat haze. White head, eggwhite. Spicy nose, wheat again. Aroma also wheat and it’s tanginess. Well carbonated. A bit of alcohol in the aroma. A clean cut saison.

Draft@ Sunset Grill. Tulip shows a mostly clear yellow color. I will first star by saying I believe this is a much better product in Europe. By the time kegs or bottle get here they may have sat for a significant amount of time. I believe this may have sat because the nose and flavor was muted and unimpressive. Aroma is mostly yeast with some light lemon notes. Flavor is weak spice with yeast and a light dustiness and some lemon. Light body and easy to drink but… just boring.

Draft. Hazy light gold body. Frothy, white head, mostly lasting. Aroma of clove, toasted grain, floral hops, mustiness, lemon peel. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Too sweet and too little carbonation.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours yellow hazy murky with small lacing head. Notes of citrus, yeast. Fresh light bitterness. Not so complex. Bit too mild in all aspects. The belgium yeast saves some the taste but still abit too weak.

Bottle. Yellow hazy. Belgian yeast, malts. Some noble green hops. Body is slick, dry. Ok belgian strong one. I’m missing saissony flavours.
