COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Unfiltered in bottle, filtered in keg.
Ingredients: Water, Barley malt, Wheat (20%), Sugar, Yeast.
First brewed in November 2009. Top-fermented blond bottle conditioned beer. Urthel Saisonnière has a wide range of rich aromas and a subtle bitter taste. at 6.0% abv it is a thirst-quenching beer with a "bite". It produces a beautiful foam head due to the 20% of wheat. To fully enjoy Urthel Saisonnière, first pour half the bottle, then give it a twist (3x) to release the yeast and the wheat from the bottom and then pour the rest of the bottle into the glass.

langeveld12 (283) - NETHERLANDS - MAY 17, 2015
Pours a large frothy white head that slowly diminishes. Body is hazy yellow orange, sparkles are visible. Aroma contains moderate malts (bread, hay), moderate hops (pine, flowers, citrus fruits), light yeasts (barnyard) and grape, raisin, apple, cherry, forest fruits, banana and vanilla. Flavor is light acidic, then light acidic and light sweet, followed by light acidic, light sweet and light bitter and finishing in light bitter. Body is medium with creamy texture and soft carbonation. Fresh, light and fruity. A very good saison. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Yellow color, with big stable head, thanks to the wheat I suppose. Smell is hops, herbal, wheat. Taste is hoppy, with a light bitterness, medium carbonation. Nice.

330ml bottle. Slightly hazy golden color. Small size, white head, stays. Sweet, bit of vinegar, grassy, hay, touch of dead yeast in aroma. Sourish, sweet, caramel, dead yeast, grassy, hay, mild spicy hops in taste. Slightly rotten fruits in aftertaste. Crisp and yet mellow mouthfeel.

Sparkling, yeasty blonde. Not to heavy, light and citrus tones. Something different, not a creamy blonde!

33 cl bottle at home. The commercial description says to pour it turbid; I didn’t but it does pour a superbly clear, sparkling, pale yellow with a tight white head. Slight aroma of grain, bubblegum(?) and some slight peppery hop. Taste is slightly sweet to begin, then nicely bitter. Some juicy malt and a nice dry finish on a lively palate. Overall, a very nice beer. Very well crafted and eminently drinkable.
