COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Unfiltered in bottle, filtered in keg.
Ingredients: Water, Barley malt, Wheat (20%), Sugar, Yeast.
First brewed in November 2009. Top-fermented blond bottle conditioned beer. Urthel Saisonnière has a wide range of rich aromas and a subtle bitter taste. at 6.0% abv it is a thirst-quenching beer with a "bite". It produces a beautiful foam head due to the 20% of wheat. To fully enjoy Urthel Saisonnière, first pour half the bottle, then give it a twist (3x) to release the yeast and the wheat from the bottom and then pour the rest of the bottle into the glass.

Amarelo levemente turvo, espuma branca rala. Aroma maltado de cereais ainda cru, um pouco adocicado e cítrico. Carbonação média, paladar mais amargo que o esperado em virtude dos aromas, dulçor bem discreto. Aftertaste mais cítrico, agradável, mas sem muitos destaques.

UPDATED: MAR 21, 2015 Bottle shared at Fiddler. Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of saison yeast and soft citrus. Flavor is light to moderate sweet and bitter. Light to medium bodied with light carbonation. A decent traditional saison.

330 ml bottle
Clear golden orange to white golden beer with fluffy big white head. Aroma has Belgian yeast, peppery spiciness, herbal and grassy hops, citrus and banana. Flavor is yeasty, fruity and peppery with some menthol. Palate is quite full with heavy carbonation. Finish has quite heavy bitterness. Aftertaste has yeast and herbal bitterness. Crisp and refreshing, decent. Pouring in the yeast makes it murky and more musty yeasty, less refreshing.

Pours gold with a large fading head. Nose shows saison yeast and spicy, herbal hops. Very similar flavours, more spicy notes. Very easy-drinking.

330ml bottle from Tartu, hazy gold colour, medium frothy white head, good lacing. Moderately malty and very sweet aroma of cookie, wheat and hay with moderate to heavy fruity yeast esters and some trace amounts of hops. Taste is initially a lot less sweet than the smell, spicy and fairly acidic, fairly long slightly bitter and sour finish, Medium body, slick mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Not the most complex of saisons I’ve come across but quite enjoyable and not overly boring still.

Poured from 12 oz. bottle. Hazy yellow golden with thick fluffy sustainable head. Solid lacing. Peculiarly familiar aroma that I couldn’t put my finger on. Citrus, lemon particularly, with some earthy funkiness. Taste is spicy yeast with more lemon. Very crisp and quaffable.
