(bottle) pours a lightly hazy amber colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of lavender, grass and powdered sugar, lightly soapy. flavour is grainy malts and apricots, quite sweet, with some hints of cooked vegetable. medium body and carbonation with a lightly alcoholic finish. much too sweet.

Dark amber and clear. Has an off-white head, fully lasting. Aroma is malty, grain, dark fruits. Flavor is heavy bitter, more fruity, dark fruit, dark bread. Moderate bitter finish. Oily texture.

Poured a murky brown body with a small off white head that went away relatively slowly. The nose is sweet and malty, notes of meat, coffee, alcohol.. . The taste is sweet and relatively mild, considering the strength of the beer. Chewy maltiness, alcohol near the end, mostly warming and nice in that aspect. Slightly bitter coffee-like roastiness near the end. Not too complex but balanced and tasty.

Re-tasted on 25.01.2010. Bottle 33 cl. Brown with reedisch shine color, and a off white head. Aroma caramel, fruits, and alcoholic. Medium to full body. Taste malts, fruits, caramel, sweet, and alcohol. Strong.

25.4 oz bottle. Clear amber with a creamy custard head. Nose is yeast, alcohol, honey, bread and raisin. Medium body with zesty carb. Taste is brown sugar, ginger and plum with a bitter yeasty finish. Alcohol dominates the rather thin flavor profile.

Smells of souring cheese (in a nice way). Pours out a darkish golden color with a tan head that dissolves enough to look like snow floating on top of water. It has a medium sweet taste with a light bitter finish. A very full bodied beverage. A very nice beverage.

Purchased at 2be in Brugges. Pours a golden yellow with a small white head. The aroma has peanut butter, soap, caramel, and flowers. The flavor is like the the nose, peanut brittle, flowers, soap, pepper, and a hint of alcohol. Not the best quad, but not bad at all.
