Foam Rangers tasting. Deep orange color with off white head. Nose is sweet malts, toffee, nuts and hops. Flavor is raisins, prunes, sweet sugars, coffee and malt. Good mouthfeel with a sticky finish.

750 ml. brown, Belgian bottle. Corked and caged. No freshness date. Subdued pop releases cork. Poured out a deep amber / orange color, with a sticky tan head. Aromas are of burnt sugar, toffee, slight nuttiness. Flavors are of roasted cashews, rum soaked raisins, some chocolate covered toffee, brown sugar. Medium thick mouthfeel, rich and chewy. Alcohol is dangerously well hidden on this brute of a beer. Finished slight sweet and chewy.

Hazy Amber appearance with a decent off-white head. Aroma is of hops and has a faint fruity aroma. Taste is of raisins, and dates with a pleasant malty sweetness.

Not much going on with the aroma. Pours a nice amber color with lots of carbonation initially. Kind of bitter, but not hops bitter. Definitely some fruit flavors, grapes. . . dates? You can taste the 11% in it though. A little underwhelming, but not bad by any means.

Thanks to ilovedarkbeer for this one. Very light aroma of seedy fruits, raisins, raspberries, and alcohol. Creamy, off-white head. Very light coloration for a Quad; medium amber color. Taste is okay, but not as strong as I would like. Yeasty finish and a alcohol taste. Very thin. Fizzy carbonation. Good, but nothing special.

First of I have to say the aroma on this one is extremly weak all I can detect is a bit of dark fruits, and some sugar. One of the least noticable I have experienced. Pours a surprisingly light brown color with some reddish orange colors present.Taste is of raisens, figs, belgian candi sugar, and tabacco. The mouthfeel is unbelieveably acidic and harsh. It almost hurts to swallow. However as this beer warms and the carbonation starts to dissapte it becomes much more drinkable. I would recommend letting this beer breathe quite a bit.

copper hue with light amber head, the aroma is caramel with raisin note. it is hellishly strong and malty, to be slowly sipped in winter...

Light amber color, with a short but sticky off-white head. Somewhat light, but very nice and sweet fruity aroma with a hint of some spices, fresh green grapes, bubblegum, and sugar. Flavors were intensely sweet and sugary, but rich and with some depth at the same time. Dried fruits, banana, more sugary candy bubblegum-ness. Kind of addictive. Very seriously alcoholic though, which scared me a bit. Mouthfeel was soft and sticky as one might expect, but perhaps a bit thinner than I prefer. Not a bad beer, certainly well-made... but I felt like there wasn’t enough serious flavor coming from this brew to justify its high alcohol content.
