(Bottle) Pours copper-ish amber. Sweet and fruity aroma with complex esters and some candied tones in the background. Ripe apples, pears, grapes, raisins and more exotic notes of pineapple, mango and citrus peel are also present. Subtle spices, mostly anise and a good deal of peppery and polish like alcohol. Some cookies, nuts and almond-ish malt along some honey tones. Malt, fruit and yeast in the flavour with notes of alcohol and anise seeds. Honey and nuts in the flavour as well. Light to medium sweet. Soft and round mouthfeel but with an unpleasant alcohol bitter finish. Alcohol and anise lingers. Medium to full bodied. This beer is quite interesting but suffering from a notable lack of depth flavour wise.

On tap at Stone. Opaque caramel color with a creamy white head. Aroma of caramel and fruit and yeast. Creamy satin palate. Taste of caramel covered fruit and a bitter finish.

Hazy amber with large head. The sweet and malty aroma has overripe fruits and toffee. Flavor is sweet and malty and quite hoppy for a Quadrupel. Warming alcohol in the end with bitter finish.

11%: Slightly hazy ruby, moderate rocky head, good lacing and retention. Aroma is alcoholic with darker fruits like raisins and cherries. Sugar and yeast play a factor as well. Somewhat hot, somewhat sweet, medium body. A hint of metal. Raisins and alcohol dominate though. Not a great example.

Bottle: Poured a copperishred amber with a creamy off white color head. The aroma is sweet fruit hints of plums. Taste blasts out of the glass as at first it stings the tongue, then is subsides to leave a sugary caramel malt, which eventually finishes dry tingly.

Pours a plummy dark orange with a great and very creamy small off white head. Lots of lacing. Aroma has plums, raisins and some exotic fruits. Quite oily and full mouthfeel. Flavour is vinious, quite bitter (surprise!), a sweet caramel edge to it as well. Not that terribly complicated and a bit too vinious, but very nice.

Bottle. Very hazy orange/brown brew, nice beige head. Aroma is very plummy and raisony with hints of mango. Flavor is very sweet, but not overwhelmed by the aroma. Flavor is very smooth and a nice tingle on the aftertaste.

Small botle. Not drunk on draft yet. A complex and good tasting beer with some bitterness and also some sweet touches. I love it
