Ungstrup (11137), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jan 31, 2006 [I sampled mine just before the best before date - I bought almost 2 years prior] A hazy dark amber beer with a huge orange head. The aroma is strong with strong notes of fruit - very sweet fruit almost like candied and somewhat overripe fruit - I’m in the direction of mango and oranges, but the aroma also contains some woody notes. The flavor is sweet and the mouthfeel very smooth - the carbonation creates the great head, but doesn’t make it lively to drink, so it just glides down, until it leaves You with a slight alcohol burn on the back of the tongue and some fruity flavors on the palate. But before then the flavor contains strong fruit notes - again very sweet fruits - like just before turning over ripe - I detect peaches, mango, and oranges. omhper (10454), Stockholm, Sweden Dec 8, 2002 Sampled draught at Akkurat, Stockholm.
Brown-amber colour. Fruity honeyaroma. Very sweet. Clean and malty with syrupy mouthfeel. Quite hoppy, with bitter finish. Does good job of hiding the 12%. Papsoe (9999), Frederiksberg, Denmark Feb 9, 2007 (Bottkle 33 cl) Hazy, dark amber with a dense and creamy, off-white head. Rich aroma of sherry and wood. Very heavy body with accents of sweet, roasted malts and caramel and then again this woodiness, desert wine and noble rot. A surprisingly solid bitterness. Good stuff. 050207 yespr (6359), Copenhagen O, Denmark Feb 4, 2008 33 cL bottle. Pours dark golden to hazy orange with a dense white head. Overripe fruity, spiced and light yeasty with a clear presence of alcohol. Flavour is smooth, fruity yest deeply embedded in a caramelish and alcohol thick base. Yet the alcohol is burning as such, just providing a very smooth base and mouthfeel. joergen (6335), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 21, 2005 Draught at Ølbaren.

Fruity aroma with spicy notes and a bit sweetness.
Sweet fruity flavour with spicy and alcoholic notes.
