| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 7, 2006 Leather, mild fresh vegetables, earthy, salty, musty yet sweet aroma. Hazy, deep golden coloured body is topped by a low, off white head that recedes to partial cover. Peaches, apricots, marzipan and doughy yeast flavours are offset by earthy and herbal hop character with moderate bitterness. Lasting sweetness in the aftertaste. Yeast seems to take up too much room. Dry medium body with moderate carbonation. Bottle sampled with MartinT, Olivier_MTL, Rastacouere and Siroy. Bart (1625), Vosselaar, Belgium

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 15, 2006 Bottle. Pours a somewhat hazy brownish/amber color. Big foamy head. Aroma consists of citrus, yeast and some slight floral presence. Taste is yeasty and malty, with a little sweetness and some balancing sour notes. A nice beer, yet unremarkable. I enjoyed the Samaranth much more.
