| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 23, 2006 Cloudy amber shade that wears a nice foamy off-white head, 1cm tall and completely lasting. Once again, a nose that shows a bit more ascorbic acid that desirable, with its tomato and hummus smells. Light vinegar component, earthy and leathery, yeast dominated and in a mostly sweet manner. More of the same in mouth, unfocused vague and unstable yeast flavours accentuate the malt timidity despite its okay texture. Medium bodied, soft carbonation. Siroy (220), Montreal, Quebec, Canada
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 21, 2006 A mostly diminishing average frothy white vieil tops up a murky medium orange body. Moderate lacing. No particles. No bubbles. Aroma presents malt being moderate biscuity /sweet while hops are very faint ... Yeast character is light soap. Also, there are evident evocations of raisin . . Initial flavor is moderate sweet with some lactose/milky impression, little sour too. while development is moderate. Finish is medium . medium body... watery texture... Soft carbonation...

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 19, 2006 Hazy dark amber with a yellowish, pale tan head. The aroma is interesting, sweet malt with tart apple, a dab of vinegar, and soapy yeast. Medium bodied. Quite malty at the beginning of the taste; a bunch of tart fruitiness soon emerges. A bit of earthy bitterness, too. The finish is quite dry and leaves a tart feeling in the mouth. Pretty decent.

Likeable Belgian Ale with a nice malty sweetness and a refreshing acidic fruitiness (apples). Low carbonation and bitterness for the style. syarak (1), Austin, Texas, USA does not count | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jan 3, 2006 750ml bottle
Pours with no head at all. Looks very murky. Smells like honey, tastes the same. I’d stick with the Urthel Triple or Abt. This is interesting, but nothing overly special. rauchbier (2997), Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, England

Intense sweet caramel and butter aromas, full bodied and sweet in the mouth with a balancing fruity tartness. Quite dry and bitter in the finish but pleasant nonetheless.
