TaxiDriver (547), Stadland, Germany Jun 7, 2008 Bottle. Moderate malty and hoppy, flowery and sweet, light alcoholic. Very large creamy off-white head, which is very long lasting. Dark orange-red clear body. Moderate sweet and bitter taste, long duration. Medium to full body, oily and creamy texture, lively carbonation.
Very nice beer, really a great one! altonbrownd (999), Amsterdam, Netherlands Apr 8, 2008 Bottle at Arendsnest. Red, cobalt colour Tall head. Strong lacing. Sugary and creamy flavours. Caramel a definite. Also quite chocolatey. MiP (6029), Flensburg, Germany Feb 11, 2008 Bottle. Cloudy dark red/brown colour. OK creamy light brown head. The flavour is metallic with some dried fruit, otherwise quite malty with a drier finish. Without the metal it would have been very good. As the beer breathes, the metal fades away. Full-flavoured with a good yeastiness. goozen (763), Leiden, Netherlands Jan 23, 2008 Bottle at PRZH, Winterbierfestival, Gouda: Brown hazy brew from Friesland with taste of some caramel, named after the most famous Dutch skating tour on ice ofcourse. Jerre (1410), Waregem, Belgium Sep 29, 2007 Bottle, 75 cl. Thanks to Leen.
Aroma yeast, caramel malts, fruity. Hazy, brown color with a medium off-white head. Medium body. Taste light roasted malts, fruity, a bit bitter @ the finish, and dry.
Good.
