Bottle @ hotel. Not really my kind of beer. Not bad but i just donít really like it. Quite a lot of liquorice in smell and taste.

Not the worst from this brewery. Dark amber, brown reddish color. SMell malts and smoke. Decent taste, soft body.

Quack-Duck (8041) - Down South, GERMANY - APR 15, 2011
bottle from Bierkoning - thanks! Brown colour, large off-white head. Sweet malty base with caramel and chocolate, shy fruity touch, linering bitter finish. Bitter-sweet, reminding me of a good Bohemian Dunkel.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours amber with a small off-white head and an aroma of dark malts and some sourness. The taste is sweet malty with some toffee and ripe fruits. Mediocre.

30cl Bottle from Mitra Heerhugowaard. Clear dark copper colour, white head. Aroma of slightly sour dark fruits, grapes and blackberries, vinous. Flavour is malty, dark fruits, soft red wine, slightly sour, light bitter finish. Light to medium bodied. Tasty.

Sort of sweet, red fruit. Expected a yellow beer (because of the label) but itís actually a dark one. Nice. Tad too sweet

rosenbergh (7239) - Tampere, FINLAND - OCT 1, 2009
300 ml bottle. From Eindhoven, the Netherlands. BBE 08.09. Clear dark reddish brown colour with small tan head. Roasted malt, some sweetness as well as some sourness, portwine, yeast and pure alcohol in aroma. Roasted malt, dark fruits, spices and after all more vodka flavour than in a lousy vodka-seven. Quite strange beer, canít say Iím a huge fan.

diabel (1608) - Aarschot, BELGIUM - SEP 7, 2009
Bottle at Arendsnest, Amsterdam Clear, amber/brown body. LIghtly brown, creamy head. Aroma of fruit, cherries, wood, wine, port, deep malts, some smoke. Lightly sweet, moderately bitter flavour of malts and grapes. Bit watery mouthfeel. Quite nice.

300ml bottle (Cracked Kettle, Amsterdam)
Deep reddy brown, large beige doughy head. Slightly dusty aroma, barky, and earthy, some grains too. In the mouth - yikes - the most liquoricey beer Iíve ever tasted. Or at least the most liquoricey head Iíve ever tasted. Pleasant carbonation, soft palate. Again liquoricey taste, but sweeter than just the head was. Some of the earthiness from the aroma there too. Richly roasted, spicy and interesting, but a tad odd in places.
