3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
bottle from Bierkoning - thanks! Brown colour, large off-white head. Sweet malty base with caramel and chocolate, shy fruity touch, linering bitter finish. Bitter-sweet, reminding me of a good Bohemian Dunkel.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sort of sweet, red fruit. Expected a yellow beer (because of the label) but itís actually a dark one. Nice. Tad too sweet

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
300 ml bottle. From Eindhoven, the Netherlands. BBE 08.09. Clear dark reddish brown colour with small tan head. Roasted malt, some sweetness as well as some sourness, portwine, yeast and pure alcohol in aroma. Roasted malt, dark fruits, spices and after all more vodka flavour than in a lousy vodka-seven. Quite strange beer, canít say Iím a huge fan.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
300ml bottle (Cracked Kettle, Amsterdam)
Deep reddy brown, large beige doughy head. Slightly dusty aroma, barky, and earthy, some grains too. In the mouth - yikes - the most liquoricey beer Iíve ever tasted. Or at least the most liquoricey head Iíve ever tasted. Pleasant carbonation, soft palate. Again liquoricey taste, but sweeter than just the head was. Some of the earthiness from the aroma there too. Richly roasted, spicy and interesting, but a tad odd in places.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottled (from Cracked Kettle, Amsterdam). Amber colour, small beigeish brown colour. Aroma is caramel, spices and mild notes of medicine. Flavour is quite much the same along with some raisins and also something like wet smoked wood or something like that.
