Ungstrup (11031), Frederiksberg, Denmark Dec 24, 2004 A red beer with a small beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of fruit especially peach as well as yeast. The flavor is sweet with primary notes of peach and a dry hoppy end. Papsoe (9980), Frederiksberg, Denmark Nov 22, 2005 (Bottle 50 cl) 5.5% ABV in my version. Neat amber coloured beer with a small, dense head. Very soft and smooth with notes of lightly sweet caramel and a wee touch of smoke. 200500 Oakes (6819), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Jan 19, 2001 Ushers makes this now? Damn English brewing consolidation, hard for us over here to keep track of this stuff. Anyway, great malty old ale - robust, good development of earthy, lightly chewy malt flavours. fiulijn (5860), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Jul 22, 2002 Amber colour. Very nice hop aroma, herbal. Some sweetness, light malt; good hopping, but spoiled by a metallic sensation. The palate doesn’t keep what the aroma promises.
