Poured an bright pale golden yellow with a slightly hazy appearance towards the top, rocky white head, good retention, small amount of ringed sticking.
Sweet pale malts and husky grains along with a light herbal hop, smells o.k. for an Euro pale lager, passable I guess, but also down right bland smelling.
Light bodied, but has a little grain roughness in the palate, mildly rigid astringent feel. Besides the husky graininess, there is the pale malt sugary sweetness that turns quite metallic at the end. Lemony, herbal spicy hops that have a softly cutting bitterness, helps for a dry finish, but with a husky metallic aftertaste that nearly ruins everything.
From the beginning I went in with low expectations for this ELP and I can say they have been met.

Moderate sweetish aroma with notes of pale lager wort, hints of maize (corn) too, some fruity aromatic hops. Moderate carbonation in the glass, soft mouthfeel. The flavour has some malty sweetness and tolerable hops in the finish. Not too bad for a standard pale lager, but I preferred their Pilsener. ucusty (1923), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA

Light color with a thin head remaining. Harsh flavor and finish, again slightly hoppy but artificially bitter and acidic (moments of metallic sourness). asedzie (457), San Francisco, California, USA

I have tried several Baltic beers and I sure think they have an unusual hops that is used. The delicate difference in the hops is not so pronounced as to recommend this one solely on this one point, but it is a pleasant beer that I certainly would seek out again. Easy drinking.
