500ml bottle watching the (recorded) Germany-Greece game. Pours bright and fizzing with a solid, undulating foam clinging to the glass in tufts. Mild mown grass, flowering shrub and biscuity malt aroma. Clean and crisp with a attractive balance of lemony, grassy hop and bready, popcorn/basmati rice-like malt sweetness(probably rice) lingering long after the swallow. I’ve got a bit of a weakness for this kind of thing I’m afraid. Friday night/Saturday morning nectar.

Can, small stable head, clear pale golden colour, fragrant malt aroma with some hops behind it, malty biscuity flavour with an empathic and mellow bitterness, great balance, very good pilsener.

Can from Global Wines, Bearwood. Pours golden, smells enticingly malty and freshly sweet. A lovely Lager - refreshing, a touch of cream, a touch of straw. Enjoyed.

Very good Lithuanian pilsener. Golden colour, hoppy aroma. Quite rich flavour, hops & some herbal notes. Drinks very well, much better most stuff available here in Poland

I agree, Joe. I think this should have been entered as a Bohemian Pilsener, not just as a generic. (I hate it when frankenkitty goads me into buying specific beers from specific liquor stores!) It’s golden (albeit pale) color, well rounded malt flavor, and generous hopping seems to qualify it for the style. There’s a bit of funky grassiness in the aroma, but the well carbonated body and general drinkability make it a repeatable (if not wonderful) refreshing drink.

Pale golden under fluffy white. Aromas are cut grass, milk, nut shells, oregano and a touch of ferret. Drinkable enough, with a strong base of pale malt preceding a grassy bitterness that continues to linger in the finish. Strong carbonation makes for a tingly mouthfeel and a gassy finish. Surprisingly quite refreshing. I think this qualifies as a Bohemian Pilsener. What do you think, Carl?

Golden colour with a white head. Mild sweet malt aroma, and light hoppy. Moderat malt sweetness, light fruity and an ok hoppy flavour. Fresh and easy drinkable.
[Bottle from local grocery store in Vilnius]

500 ml bottle, bought at Ole Simon, Sandnes. ABV is 4.6%. Pale golden colour, large and lasting head. Flowery and sweetish aroma, okay. Fairly hoppy flavour. Deserves the name "pilsener" - I’ve had many a "pils" that was far worse than this one. This is a quite good one, actually.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop marked est Before 08 001 UP lot poured a medium sized head of foamy fine to medium sized white colored bubbles that were and left behind a typically carbonated straw yellow colored body and a fair lacing. The mild aroma was malt hop. The crisp and clean mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a bubbly aftertaste. The flavor contained notes of malt and hops. A decent one that I would consider buying again.
