Utenos Premium (Gold)

Bottle. Pours clear gold with ncie carbonation and small white head. Aroma is skunk, fruit, and some metallic. Taste is smooth, surprisingly not skunked, but rather boasting notes of fruit.

Bottled in 2006 at mabjork, thanks for sharing! Yellow colour, mediumsized white head that vanishes quickly. Metallic aroma with some sweet malty and maizeish notes as well as some rubber. Flavour is quite much the same. Rather unclean and not very nice.

Different bottle but was the same beer. It reminded me a little the Nicaraguan beers by the label but the content is different. Just like Eastern Europe lagers. NOthing special but very refreshing.

Can - 500ml. Pale gold body with a thick white foamy head. Fair malty/hoppy aroma with sweet and bready hints. Taste carries bad corny and metallic notes. It ends with a short bittersweet finish. Useless.

(Draught on 2008-06-21) Pale yellow. Clear. Medium-sized white head. Mild, lightly hoppy nose. Light palate with lots of carbonation. Very light hint of malts and tiny amount of bitterness in taste. Boring.

Clear pale golden color, white head. Mlty and hoppy scent. Malty, sweet and vegetable taste. High co2 spritzy mouthfeel. Low bitterness.

Poured a weak straw yellow. Miniscule white head. Nose of adjunct grains with hints of mundaneness. I guess I will try anything once. Even twice. Not my favorite beer to say the very least. but, hey, it’s imported beer.

Pretty basic stuff. I was hoping for some hoppiness, but no go. Fresh and flowery, some hay and grass. Pretty decent lager, altho nothing special.
