UPDATED: JUL 1, 2006 Rerate 2002Sampled at Utrechts Bokbierfestival Dark color. Sweet malty aroma and taste. More double-like than real bocky, which is great. Complex and perfect! Original rate This beer is a pleasure for the tongue! Come to Utreg and taste its quality, cos Utreg is the only place i know where this fantastic beer is available!

UPDATED: NOV 2, 2003 One of the best dutch autumn bocks i know. Dark with nice head. The complex malty sweet taste makes it a beer that is actually in between a bock and a dubbel. 2003 is inferior to the 2002.

Had this one at a bokbier fest in Amsterdam. The brewer was nice enough to give me an extra glassful.

UPDATED: OCT 26, 2003 Re-rate, 10-26-03: I re-rated this at the Amsterdam Bockbierfestival. And it was actually the only bock worth coming to Amsterdam. The others were average or underaverage. The aroma is rather spicy. Dark brown color, beige creamy head, very good lace. Sweet, full, roasted, chocolat and coffee, very soft. 11-28-98, 3.0: just an average bock.

Something is rotten in the state of Denmark when this fine beer can’t be appreciated for what it’s worth.
