33cl bottle from Biernavigatie. Thin white head. Cloudy golden amber pour. More tart than the 5% cider. Less drinkable but still a decent cider

Pour is light amber and slightly hazy, some bubbles. Aroma of intense caramel apple and a note of banana-like esters. It has a depth of flavor which relies on sweetness and the finish is clean. It is definitely lacking in the finish and the flavor could have a bit more going on than developed sugars. If this was a regular shelf cider, I’d be in to it, but as something that someone dragged back for me from the Netherlands, it’s a tad disappointing.

Bottle: Thanks Elke: Served in a Shaker: Small lively white head, leaves a circle on top of a hazy yellow colored cider. Aromas of apple, yellow apple, fermented apple, some apple peel, some manure and a hint of dust/wilder yeast. Flavours of apples, yellow apples, light citric, light bitter, some dust, fermented tones, yeasty tones, light wood and malt tones. Luckily no glue, chemical or artificial tones... Aftertaste is a mix of bitters, fermented apples, dust and yellow apples with a light light tarty tone. Medium to fuller carbo, sparkling mouthfeel, medium bodied and a light creamy light watery texture. Not bad but I miss some soul. A bit one dimensional, but better than the others from this ciderie.

Bottle. Golden color. Apple and sulphur in the aroma and flavor. Sweetish with some tannines. Carbonation is soft. Slightly alcoholic.

Amber gold with a thin, fizzy, white, lacy disappearing head. Smells of deep sweet apple, oak and just apple juice. Medium body. Sour apple, wood, grain, with a citrus acidic finish. A bit too sour.

Bottle from Beer Temple. A nice and quaffable yet complex cider. Some oak and citrus are the highlights behind the bright and slightly acidic apple. Very good

Poured a deep cloudy yellow with no head. Aroma of oaked apple, quite similar to the 5% but a bit more interesting and palatable.

Bottle from Berts Bierhuis. Curious to see how this would turn out. Pale yellow colour, fast disappearing white head. Nose is medium sweet apple, apple juice, slightly acidic. Flavour is medium sweet apple, apple juice, hint of vinegar. Medium carbonation. Light bodied and watery. Not as good as their 5% cider.
