Bottle. A hazy one, pale yellow-golden in color and with a minimal-sized white head. The aroma is fruity, with both apple cores and pears. Medium body, semi-dry with a nice carbonation. Pears and apple cores. Some bitter notes. Not very interesting this one, slightly yeasty too. 141024

Benzai (8986) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - SEP 11, 2014
Bottle @ home. Slightly hazy very pale yellow color, small white head. Smell and taste pear, lightly (Dutch) "appelmoes", lightly sweet and slightly a hint of fruitpeel sour. Clearly pear and / or pear juice in there. To me it tastes quite natural in the sense of "not many additives thrown in", but in this case it doesn’t really seem to improve the flavor. At least, I don’t really like it.

worldbeertaste (1693) - West Midlands, ENGLAND - DEC 12, 2013
Hazy pale gild no head. Smells of fresh ripened pear with malt, and yeast. Medium frothy, fizzy body with medium carbonation. Tastes of juice with a thin pear element but more of an apple, pear cocktail. Some wood and grass. Leaves the mouth sweet and sour.

33cl bottle courtesy of and shared with Worldbeertaste. No head or carbonation. Hazy pale golden pour. Dry aftertaste. A nice enough perry.

Poured cloudy yellow with no head. Aroma of tart pear. Medium body, flavour of the aroma, quite woody and with a bitter dryness.

Countbeer (4739) - Best of E-Town mit ein Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - DEC 12, 2012
Bottle: Label says 6,5% Alc. Some lively bubbles very small head that disappears right away. Almost clear really light/watery (like pear juice) dusty yellow colored perry. Lots of carbo activity in the glass. Smells a lot like most ciders, but is pretty light and soft: dust, yeast, apple, pear, peel, hint of alcohol, slight hint of something wood ish and something light dusty stone ish. Taste is a bit of an unbalanced mix of alcohol, malty bitters, nail polish/remover, spicy herbs, water, apple, pear, light dusty spices and some light sour ish touch. Strange: not bad, but not that good either. Aftertaste is more pear with some alcohol, spicy yeast and a light malty woody sprinkle. Medium carbo, lively and light spicy mouthfeel, medium body an a (light) watery texture.
