Clear golden color, good creamy head. Malty, a bit rubbery-yeasty aroma with light citrus notes. Medium-bodied. Maltyness, citrusy floral notes. Very German. Nice light tickling bitterness in the aftertaste.

Palme (3365) - Bergen, NORWAY - SEP 12, 2014
Sampled from a 0.5l bottle @ RBNG 2014. This is a near clear golden looking one, only a tiny sidesticking white top. Quite grainy initially on the nose with lots of hay and cereals. Even a little bit of sweet caramel. Not to pleasant really. Feels gliding light oily in the mouth with a soft carbonation level. Somewhat caramel sweet in the taste as well. Not as grainy as the aroma, but still detected. Soft honey hints with mild flowers towards the finish. Well, a bit dull and definitely not moreish. 15.02.2014

Clear deep golden. Low white head. Well prononced bready malt aroma, with some mild grassy and hay-ish hops. Light to medium full. Good malt base. Bread and grain. Balancing bitterness. Not very exciting, but a clean and decent festbier. [Shared bottle at Grand Tasting, RBNG2014]
