COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Prykmestar Schwarzbock on lähes läpinäkymättömän musta pohjahiivaolut.

Very nice, fruity taste. Perfect sweetness, Weak palate. Not at all foamy - it is a pity because with more full palate would give high points. A little taste of car tyre, but still one of the best finnish beers. Nice - want to have another.

0.5 l bottle from Alko. Dark mahagony color. Aromas of toffee, cholate and some coffee. Sweetish taste with toffee, toasted bread, chocolate and raisins. Medium body, perhaps a bit watery mouthfeel. Nicely restrained roastiness, tasty but not aggressive.

500ml bottle (Alko Arkadia, Helsinki)
Nice roasty aroma, very grainy, hint of sourness. Pretty thin body for a beer of this colour and strength, not quite watery, but getting there. OK carbonation. Looked lovely though, pretty much black, and a tight tan head. Body a little proteiny, smooth, and soft. Nice roast, but I can’t lose the watery aspect. Covers 6% pretty well, but it’s a bit too mashy and raw. Attenuate this a bit more, please.

Very good black, well balanced beer with solid taste of roasted malts. Hints of coffee and dark chocolate, soft palate and mild aftertaste (maybe even a bit too mild).
