Bottle 0,5 l. Looks like a hefe, good hazy pale yellow with a smallish head compared to it’s german friends. Nose is promising, banana, yeast, fruits, freshness. Flavor is slightly sour, bananish, bit spicy with wheat. Fairly good, middle of the road hefe. Quite boring, yet well made and easy. Lacks a bit on the body and intensity. There are many better, but for a finnish brew available in supermarkets it’s a winner.

TET (1610) - FINLAND - MAY 20, 2009
Cloudy, yellow beer with too small white head. Aroma is pleasant, wheatish and fruitfully bananas. Flavour is not so sweet than expected but otherwise there are same nuancees than are found from aroma. Also some sourness and lemon. Surprisingly, quite slippery and rounded. Medium category hefeweisse, not in the top but still nice to enjoy.

0.5 l bottle, thanks hanniku! Hazy yellow brown color with creamy head. Balanced fairly delicate aroma with vanilla, clove, banana and tart fruitiness. Dryish spicy and bready flavor with clove, pepper, lemon and banana. Slightly more bitter than a typical weizen which dryes the finish. Light bodied oily palate. Tasty drinkable beer but would be better with less bitterness.

500 ml bottle. Finland. Hazy dark orange colour with small head. Wheaty, very grainy, fruity banana aroma. Grainy, wheaty, fruity (banana/citrus) flavour with somewhat bitter finish. A bit watery and too easy to drink for a Hefeweizen, but definitely not poor effort. Some alcohol aroma comes out when it’s getting warmer.

UPDATED: JUN 24, 2009 Bottled (BB 10/2009). Hazy lemonade orange color, mostly vanishing white head. Banana and banana candy aroma with wheat grainy notes. Palate is quite watery - 4.5% is probably a bit too low for a good hefeweizen. Toasted banana, light orange peel fruityness. No yeast at the bottom of the bottle. Flavors are ok, but mouthfeel is quite thin and empty. Karhupanimo’s Kesäyö beats this hands down. (7/3/7/2/11 3.0). Re-rated bottle
Murky, orange, vanishing head. Grainy, orange peel and banana candy aroma. Thin, watered down sahti-like flavors. Orange soda pop weizen. (5/3/5/2/10 2.5)
