Bottle. Smooth and lightly dry, clearly more suited to the pint glass than usual for Val-Dieu beers. A decent golden ale rather than an abbey beer.

Een simpel witbier, met een graansmaak, met een prima bitterheid en frisheid. Mooi bier met een dikke schuimlaag.

Bottle from de Bierschuur in Poppel. The beer is yellow to golden colored and has a stable large white head, with nice carbonation. The aroma is malty and fruity, with also tones of citrus, spices and some yeast. The taste is light sweet and malty and has some nice fruity notes. The finish is light bitter and spicy and is long.

Bottle from Bacchanalia, drunk at home. Straw-yellow with a decent covering of white head. Icing sugar, yeast, and a gentle suggestion of allspice flood the nose. Sweet taste without being too sweet, although there is only a suggestion of hop at the end if the sip. Lemon drops and vanilla on the aftertaste. Enticing and certainly worth drinking.
