Rich sweet honey nose with an undercurrent of hay. Clear golden, thick white sudsy head. Nice blend of honey and hay, not really strong. Lightly carbonated. Could be a little stronger, but pairs well with chips and salsa.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 KajII (344) - Macon, North Carolina, USA - AUG 30, 2010
Bottle. Poured a hazy amber with a small particles of yeast sediment floating throughout with an average size white frothy head and had excellent lacing. The aroma had a strong scent of a flowery hops, light grainy malts and a mild soapy yeast odor with notes of citrus. It tasted moderatley bitter and slightly acidic at first then mellowed into a smooth bitter yeasty flavor with notes of citrus that lingered on the palate for a nice while. Mouthfeel was light in body and watery in texture with a nice lively carbonation. Overall an outstanding Abbey ale.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 cranked (8) - Kentucky, USA - JUL 24, 2010 does not count
Poured golden with a nice white frothy head from bottle into Val Dieu goblet glassware. Head retention was mid to low. Smelled sweet and somewhat floral. Waited until the beer was in mid 50 degrees before drinking, at about 53 degrees Fahrenheit the beer had a sweet complex light malt palate typical of belgian blondes. The mouth feel was smooth with the carbonation lifting it away as it rolled across the tongue. Very refreshing. Definitely one of my favorite blonds now.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 dagimp (416) - Philly, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 5, 2010
From a 12oz (metric) into a snifter. Pours with a TON of fizzy white head but not much lacing. Aroma is tipical Belgian. Mouthfeel is pretty light. Taste is Belgian Blonde; grass, funk and mild spices. Pretty bland flavor if you ask me. OK but much better out there.
