Presentation: Stubby 11.2 oz. brown bottle, served in an oversized wine glass. Appearance: Cloudy, pale gold color. Develops a two finger bright white head that goes down but remains all the way to the end. It leaves some great lacing. Smell: The scent is sweet, fruity, mainly banana. There’s some nice herbal and malt notes, as well as some yeast in the background. Taste: A fruit flavor is dominant. It has spice and herbal flavors that make for a very complex and appealing package. There’s alcohol and a tiny malt sweetness at the end, with some bitterness to balance everything out. Mouthfeel: It’s smooth, creamy and medium bodied. It has mildly high carbonation that’s not overwhelming but still present. Overall: Very drinkable and complex. It has a lot of flavors and scents, but also a simple sweetness, balanced perfectly by a hint of bitterness and an alcoholic character, that just make it a great beer.

Vrij platte geur, zelfs als hij wat warmer is. Mooie licht goudgele kleur. Lichte smaak. Niet te zoet en lekker fris.

Clear Golden beer with a firm white, lasting head. Medium carbonation. Flowery and fruity in the nose. Malts, elegant citrus, slight bitterness and a smooth finish. Really good blonde.

The aroma is malty, quite sweet. It’s a bit hazy, with big head. The color is golden. In taste it’s also malty, sweet and sour. The alcohol is delicately noticeable. It’s quite heavily carbonated. That’s rather all. Nothing else is going on in it.

In tegenstelling tot vele blonde bieren dat ik al geproefd heb, is dit een biertje waar wel goed wat smaak aan zit.

Bottle . New label , much nicer than the old version , rich on information . Had it before , but did not take notes , so in s way a re-rate , old ( ilunposted rating , from memory ) 3,5 /5 Pours clear blonde , yeast addition makes the beer a bit fuzzy . Good , fast fading white head . Aroma is yeasty , bit bitter . Taste is very typical . Sugary , bit of yeast , some bitterness . A very , very typical taste , with a bit more sugary taste than the medium . Too high carbo , but not the worst ive had so far . Rating it a bit lower since the sugary aspect is bigger than i remembered .

Bouteille de 33cl. Couleur dorée pale, mousse moyenne de tenue correcte. Des arômes citronnés et de céréales. Texture un peu plate en bouche. Trouvée à Roby - Menin.

Typical Belgian blond beer. Yeasty, fruity and with some mild hopping. Just like the others.
