Bottle. Phenolic, and overly so; overly chemical smelling rather than fruity and spicy. Sweet, biscuity/bready malt notes are simple, though pleasant. Too troubled by off notes to warrant drinking it over a wide sample of even boring Belgian blondes.

Golden/blonde in colour, a pure white one finger head which lasts. Malty, spicy, orangey aroma. Slightly creamy texture, plenty of spice, some fruitiness, bittersweet finish. Nice.

Bottle at the 3 Fontane Abbey in Rome-ITALY. Pours cloudy vivid golden going orange, tick white creamy head. Nose: citrus, some spices, residual Belgian yeast. Mouth: sweet start, high carbonation, watery although refreshing. Some pepper, lemon...dry end. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

33cl bottle served in a Delirium Tremens glass. Pours a light straw colour with a voluminous foamy white head which clings to the glass nicely. Quite well carbonated with an aroma of hops and maltiness but less spicy notes than typical of the style. Quite watery for the typical Belgian blonds but drinkable all the same. There are however, better examples at this price point.

Pours a medium hazy yellow with a touch of gold and a fizzy white cap. The smell is yeast, a hint of spice, some underlying fruit. The taste is as it taste with a dry, fruity, yeasty finish. The carbonation is a bit course with light body.

Vrij platte geur, zelfs als hij wat warmer is. Mooie licht goudgele kleur. Lichte smaak. Niet te zoet en lekker fris.

Clear Golden beer with a firm white, lasting head. Medium carbonation. Flowery and fruity in the nose. Malts, elegant citrus, slight bitterness and a smooth finish. Really good blonde.

The aroma is malty, quite sweet. It’s a bit hazy, with big head. The color is golden. In taste it’s also malty, sweet and sour. The alcohol is delicately noticeable. It’s quite heavily carbonated. That’s rather all. Nothing else is going on in it.
