Bottle. Poured a hazy amber with a small particles of yeast sediment floating throughout with an average size white frothy head and had excellent lacing. The aroma had a strong scent of a flowery hops, light grainy malts and a mild soapy yeast odor with notes of citrus. It tasted moderatley bitter and slightly acidic at first then mellowed into a smooth bitter yeasty flavor with notes of citrus that lingered on the palate for a nice while. Mouthfeel was light in body and watery in texture with a nice lively carbonation. Overall an outstanding Abbey ale.

0,33l fles gedeeld met ralf tijdens de bbq. Goudgeel met een witte kraag. Citroen en vanille niet te zoet. Aardig

From 33 cl bottle, shared. Clear golden blonde color (until I poured in some of the yeast...). Firm, rocky white head with good lacing. Aroma’s: fruit (notably citrus), yeast, a bit herbal, plus some grain retronasal. Flavor is light sweet. Light to medium bodied. Short finish, slightly dry, with virtually no bitterness.

2015-04-27 - An unknown beer but surprisingly good. It pleased me a lot. A nice color too.

Bottle from Frits. Fast-rising head. Yellow colour. Nice, citrusy aroma. Spicy, smooth, buttery even. Not much of a kick to it. Watery and murky finish.

Pale golden opaque beer with some gentle bubbling and a small white head. Smell is wheat, grainy with some rotten fruit and a touch of citrus. Some white pepper. Calcium, mineral. Taste is metallic, fizzy, lightly bitter with a dry, lightly astringent finish. Rotten fruit sweetness. Not really my taste but an elegantly balanced beer.

Bottle from notes. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma and flavor have pale malts, hay, light fruit, light spices, hints of yeast, mild citrus, everything was very light, this was pretty plain and boring.

Bottle from local Yamaya store. Sweet yeasty nose, with apples and some wheat notes. Medium straw color. Some fairly dull fruit flavors, apples, pears, minimal hopping, and some alcohol warmth. Thin body, and an excessive carbonation. Not bad. Not really exceptional either.

Fairly standard Belgian blonde ale. Slight citrus taste but a bit too overcarbonated for my liking.

white, frothy head. Fairly persistent. Golden yellow, fairly clear. Fairly intense and persistent at nose. A lot of honey, ripe fruit, peach, Average carbonation, a fine bitter in the finish.
