33 cl. Dark brown with a good creamy white head. Sweet nuts, caramel & yeast in the aroma. Texture/body is super smooth & filling. Very nice lacings. Taste & aroma could be a bit rougher but still a nice double!

I had this on tap a few months ago, it was utterly fantastic. This rating is on the bottle that I had last night. Good, but not as great as tap. Pours very dense with a small brown head. Aroma is on the fig/malt/molasses side. The flavor is much as the aroma, nearly a liquid fig newton. Texture is where this was great, very thick, complex and a long lasting finish. Very good and very drinkable.

33 cL bottle. Pours dark brown with a dense and light brown head. Aroma is sweet, malty and yeasty spiced. Flavour starts sweet malty with a textured mouthfeel. A warming alcohol flavour and slight spiced note appears before the finish. Nice warming finish.

Dark brown with medium head. Aroma with yeast and toffee. Quite sickening flavor in an unbalanced and very sweet beer.

Good beer - rich dark colour, sweet, roasted taste, not overly complex but highly enjoyable

Pours a clear dark ruby with minimal off white head. If you pour the whole bottle in (sediment and all), you get a cloudy ruby (and the nose is noticably more yeasty). Nose is a cross of old grape skins and cherries with a syrup edge. Flavor is pretty interesting. Starts off tangy and almost bitter in a way. Constant sweet tone with a doughy edge to it towards the tail end. With all the sediment in there, the subtle changes are less noticable and it tends to stay an even, slightly caramel brew.Feel has a great level of carbonation on it. Pretty drinkable, though that 8% will get to ya quick.

Bottle... Dark, hazy brown ale with a large, rocky, off-white head. Terrific, tight, creamy retention. Milk chocolate and roasted pistachio nose with hints of dark fruit and spent coffee grounds. Sweet, chocolate and dark fruit flavor with moderate, aged hop bitterness and a smidgen of tanginess. Medium to full-bodied with medium carbonation. Sweet, well-roasted finish with just a touch of acidity.
