3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 GreatLibations (1771) - Last Supper, Arizona, USA - JAN 7, 2008
Pours a beautiful golden color w/ a full, semi creamy froth tat takes it’s sweet time to meet back at the fort. Leaving snail tracks behind this brew reduces to a full, downy canopy and a thick fluffy ring. Aromas are very mild producing a soft, malty scent. Full nectar w/ relaxed until aroused carbonation. A plentiful malty backbone dlivers like it’s Christmas. Generous and warming this brew is big yet balanced. Flavors of crisp vanilla ceream push forward w/ nuances of citrus, peach, and banana. The finish is bittered nicely with a mild tartness. This is a refined style, as with the other two beers I had from them.

Simple wheat, citrus aroma. Golden with no head. Orange and mild honey notes. Smooth, but very watery.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 riversideAK (4381) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - JAN 3, 2008
Poured a hazy gold color with a nice lasting head. Vinous fruity aroma. Cloves and yeast peak through as well. Very fruity with soft notes of grape, apples, pears, yeast, and metal. A touch of alcohol too. Big and flavorful, but not heavily bodied.
4.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20 Wisconsin (15) - live oak, Florida, USA - JAN 1, 2008
Almost my perfect beer. I picked this up at the local liquer store a while back and ive been dreaming of it ever since. I havent had this in a while as it cost me around $6 a bottle but its a real treat. The thing i remember best is the big nearly brown head and the laceing you can get only from real belgian beer
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 Miksu (3887) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - DEC 31, 2007
0.75 l bottle. Hazy golden color with thick long lasting head. Clove, banana, cork and tart acidic notes in the aroma and flavor. Some oily and grainy notes also. Lots of yeast in the glass because the bottle was kept sideways.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 mgumby10 (1856) - Jupiter, Florida, USA - DEC 26, 2007
Poured a slightly hazy dark gold color with a pretty big and foamy white head. Smelled of Belgian candy sugar, some sweet citrus and heavy syrupy malts. The taste was pretty sweet and syrupy, almost too much so, and the alcohol was quite prevalent throughout. There were some definite fruits noticeable, some apple and pear perhaps, but nothing more dominant than the sweet candy sugar and corn syrup. Not my favorite of tripels, but drinkable.
4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 badbeer (434) - Iowa, USA - DEC 23, 2007
750mL bottle poured into a Karmeliet chalice.
Appearance was orange in color and a creamy head looked promising, but fell apart and left spotty lacing. The smell was very interesting, involving various fruits in which apricot, apple, and pear were included. The taste was much of the same, but I also found some spices including vanilla and nutmeg. Body was medium to full, nice and creamy going down. I really enjoyed drinking this one down, and will probably be picking up another bottle in the future.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 sunevdj (2306) - Copenhagen OE, DENMARK - DEC 23, 2007
Pours a hazy orange with a small dimminishing head. Sweet with some fruity esters. Hint of spices too. Short dry finish.
