UPDATED: SEP 3, 2007 Pours a deep tangerine-amber color with a short-lived medium head. The smell is apparent right away, with citrus fruits, spice, and vanilla. Terrific scent. The taste is lively, fresh, with orange, candied sugar, and intense spice. The malt is very apparent and the alcohol presence is definitely prominent. Very complex with a soft, smooth, velvety finish.

Hazy golden body with a white lasting head and yeast particles. Aroma of yeasty bread, some bananas and a bit of wheat. Had almost a "creamy" smell to it. The taste of bananas, cloves, sweet bread and honey made of an enjoyable tasting experience. Very smooth feel all the way down.

Great beer to start my evening. Deep amber with nice head. Malty, typical tripel taste. Would definitely purchase again.

Deep straw in colour, a bit hazy, good steady bead, good lasting white head and a nice lace. A big powerful nose of malt, toffee, spice and fruit, complex but still fresh. Big on flavour too, sweetish and malty with a fresh citrus fruity acidity clean with a long finish. The 9% becomes evident after a couple of mouthfuls, warming the stomach, and numbing the brain....nice! A Ronnie beer.

Poured from the bottle to a nice golden orange with floating sediment and a medium thick off-white head that lingered well and left good lacing. Nose of hoppy fruit (apples) along with cinnamon spices. Mouthfeel was tingly and spicy, and the flavor was a pleasant mix of the spices and fruits. As the beer warmed at mid-glass, the 9% alcohol worked its way into both the aroma and the flavor, just enough to add an extra kick. Finally, the finish was long and warming, with just a hint of bitter. Though not meant as such, this would make a good winter warmer.

750 ml bottle. Pours a cloudy golden amber with a course white head. Spicy noise with hints of apples and cloves. Medium body with a crisp finish from high carbonation. Sweet honey start gives way to a crisp apple that blends into a lingering pepper and clove finish.

Bottle at home. Nice tripel. Caramel, sweet, syrupy taste. Orangy, citrusy body. Taste of citrus, honey, marsepin and bubble gum even. Prickly and pleasant finish.
