750 Bottle. Tulip glass. Golden yellow-orange color. Sweet honey, yeast and malt aroma. Taste is sweet and fruity/malt with some spice. Not enough hops present. Alcohol is well hidden.

Mild aromas, yeast, apricots and honey, not malty, or too sweet. A crisp yet creamy mouthfeel with mild but definitely present hoppyness and a bit of an alcoholic bite (and warmth) keep things serious. Poured too cold from a 1.94 litre bottle. The head is small but everpresent. A single layer of tiny bubbles keeps the top covered. Floaters apparent yet in the bottle - for now! The beer is a hazy golden/orange color. I like this, sure are lots a good beers out there... Along those lines - whats with all the people who cant seem to rate anything higher than 4? 4 out of 5 is what 80% I say if you haven’t even tasted what you consider a grade A beer I don’t want your opinion! Live a little - hell - I’d hate to die thinking I’d drunk *bad* beer all my life!

bkurtz (461) - PERU - APR 6, 2007
Poured a cloudy yellow with a smaller head and less lacing than other Belgian Triples. All the spice and citrus aromas are there, but not as well balanced as a Westmalle. Delicious none the less.

Poured from a 330ml bottle into a tulip glass, cloudy golden with a healthy dose of floaters. The aroma was of apples, honey and berries. The taste was similiar, a sweet fruity mix with notes of honey and a hint of butter. Very creamy mouthfeel with no apparent alcohol. Very pleasant.

UPDATED: SEP 2, 2007 bottle from Uto - Golden with a dense pillowy white head. Sort of earthy aroma of yeast, hops, oranges and banana. Spicy bite with notes of coriander, orange, yeast and hops. Long sweet, hoppy finish and plenty of sediment. Good stuff.

Bottle. Typical complex aroma for a Belgian, spices, clove, and banana. A touch fizzy and watery in the mouth. Complex beer -- starts with a metallic flavor and finishes long with flavors of apple, black pepper, and alcohol (but no burn or strong booziness). Smooth for a 9% ABV but less smooth than many tripels also around this strength. Better than the Val-Dieu Blonde. Enjoyable Belgian tripel.

rederic (2269) - montréal, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 14, 2007
Hazy yellow gold hue, with a frothy white head, with some flake of lees swirling around, leaving laces, yeasty, raw pale malt nose, with a faint fruity note of citrus fruits, hint of honey in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a yeasty, spicy, pale malt character, with a sweet honeyed note, an alcoholic warmth accent, faint oranges and lemons fruitiness, leading towards a sweet pale malt and a lingering hop bitterness finish.

33cL bottle. Poured a hazy gold color, with a foamy white head. Had a sharp buttery flavor with a short finish. Fairly good triple.
