50cl glass from tap at Moeder Lambic. Little hazy, still I can see through. Golden with a whiye head. Nose : Strong pepper and citrus fruit aromas. Caramel and very little alcohol. Sip : floral sweetness changes into alcohol, cherry and apple like notes. After couple of sips spices comes on top layer : pepper and clove mostely. Little sour. Nice balance but half a liter of this trippel with be all I will have.

Pours a clear golden color with a thick white head. Interesting aroma of yeast, citrus, honey and spices. Good flavor of yeast, citrus, spices with moderate honey. The sweetness is present, but moderate. The body is medium with a slightly creamy, vinous texture and medium carbonation. This is quite good.

[4037-20111023] 330mL bottle. Light white wine and fruity aroma notes. Hazy, light brown orange body with a medium-lasting creamy white head and some sediment. Mild fruity lemon flavour has an underlying tart yeast. Medium body. Good, would like to try again. (7/3+/7/3/14) 3.4

UPDATED: OCT 28, 2011 2011-10-23. Lightly hazy pale golden body, small frothy white head. Yeasty doughy aroma, pale malt. 6+ Flavour is similar, sweet pale malt, biscuity doughy notes, mild yeast. Light alcohol in the finish dries it out a bit. Alcohol grows a bit as it warms up. Smooth average plus bodied palate. Pretty decent triple, enjoyable. Bottle is about a year old , BB Feb 2012, from liquor store, Winnipeg

A solid treat picked up at my favorite local store Marty’s. Boozy, yeasty citrus aroma. Deep gold with some suspension, but not as opaque as expected. Sweet start with dry, tart finish.

Bottle at Le Poechenkellder in Brussels. It poured a foggy golden liquid with a white head. Yeasty and fruity smell and taste. Lean and smooth mouthfeel. A very nice triple, well balanced.

(bottled) I bet your typical bum on the street would like Triples ....they’re so boozy and not at all aplogetic for it , the tramps on skid row drinking Chimay White outta paper bags isnt as strange as you think ...ca$h pending...
boozy, yeasty rich and floral nose ..resembles duvel ,only not as brilliant a beer head .... in the mouth peppey ,spicy raw alcohol that’s menacing.. overly sweet and then paradoxicaly overly dry and tart ..
Not very classy or refined , but kinda decent ....

33 cl bottle @ De Garre, Bruges. Rated on 15.07.2010
Fruity aroma with spices, citrus and orange peel. Aroma is slightly bitter with orange peel, spices and some alcohol. Nothing special here, yet another triple.
