Val-Dieu Triple is the result of a long fermentation, scrupulously followed by the brewmaster. Its deep yet soft bitterness does not interfer with the discovery of its components. The taste of the hop comes through, naturally aromatized, accompanied by an alcoholic after taste. It can be associated with refined dishes and ranks among the great beers. It may be found in the some of the most exclusive restaurants.

Ingredients: Pilsen malt, Saaz and Spalter hops, sugar, live yeast, natural water from the region.

Foam: large creamy white head, but not too long retention leaves a lot of lacing in the glass. Colour: hazy dark golden, almost orange Aroma: white sugar, honey, floral, touch of lemon Taste: high carbonation, yeast tones, straw, honey, floral tones and white sugar, easy on the tongue, very well hides it’s 9% AVB, light fruits and some grass, later on a slight sourness comes in, quite tasty, more hoppy and less sweet than typical triple but I don’t like this kind of triple very much because of this slight sourness above mentioned.

Bottle. Pours a clear dark golden body with a large creamy white head. Nose is Belgian yeast tones, grains, straw, honey, floral tones, honey and hints of heather flowers and white sugar. Taste is white sugar, honey, floral heather tones, Belgian ale yeast and hints of banana and mild clove. Medium crisp body, high carbonation. Decent enough tripel, but not too impressive.

Bottle from Brusin ales. Pours golden with a half inch of white foam. Leaves a lot of lacing in the glass. nice Belgian yeast thing on the nose. Easy on the tongue. hides it’s 9% very well. Not particularly memorable on the tongue but certainly pleasant. Finishes clean. not the most exciting triple I’ve ever had but solid enough to share with friends with causing embarrassment.

Bottle from Yamaya. Ripe medium-strength fruity nose, thick yeast, bready, cedar shavings, and very slight oxidation. Hazy orange/amber color, filmy white head. Sweet peachy initial, small caramel, light spice, and hint of oranges. Medium-heavy body, with some alcohol warmth. A bit sweet, but very satisfying. Nice triple.
