Hazy gold, rocky beige head.Yeasty nose..Flavor is more of the same, nice malt in back, slightly tart, mild alcohol heat, lightly fruity, softly carbonated. I am not a tripel fan, but I like this one!!

Lovely taste. Banana. Creamy. Not overly malty like some tripels. Perfect for kicking back, watching <!-- i -->Pardon the Interruption<!-- /i -->, and enjoying the end of summer and upcoming pleasant Michigan fall.

Fresh, hoppy and creamy pretty much sums up this beer for me. It’s decent, but like most Val Dieu products lacks character and that certain something called geist. I like it, it’s pleasant to drink and sits well in your tummy, but at the same time it’s a very forgettable beer and overall highly un-triple-like.

Foams out of the bottle, pours cloudy orange with a huge white head. Clean, French bread aroma. Nicely fruity, with flavors of pineapple and banana, then a toasty, bready note. Messy, peppery finish.

#300. 750ml. This pours a light hazy yellow with a big frothy off white head. The carbonation is pretty lively, as I expected. Aroma is tart citrus, and nice and spicy. Get some alcohol in the aroma also, but not in an overbearing way. Taste is spicy, and tart citrus, sweeter fruits like apple, and more spices. Dry tangy finish. Everything a tripel should be without being exceptional.
