Old_Mr_Crow (1038), Seattle, Washington, USA Jan 7, 2007 Bottle
Pours a hazy light orange with a modest and low-density white head. The aroma is of peaches and flower petals and pear syrup, hints of damp basement and of honey. The flavor is gentle and sweet - apricot tea with lots of honey, some mild sour musty notes, but little by way of the hops. The flavor and mouthfeel alike are quite thin, especially considering the style and the attendant 9% alcohol.
It’s pleasant enough to drink, but absolutely nothing special - which a triple really should be. I’m rather surprised by the relatively high average that this one has racked up.
