jjuf1853 (210), Land O Lakes, Florida, USA May 9, 2008 Bottle purchased at ABC liquor (Carrollwood, FL). Pours a clear, golden, orange color with a thin foamy white head. Good lacing around the glass. Aroma is very similar to the Val Dieu Blonde with sweetness of grapes, yeast, and mild spices but there is also the ever so slight presence of alcohol. Taste is sweet at first with flavors of honey, yeast, and malts coming through with some hop bitterness thrown in the mix as well. Finishes dry with a nice aftertaste. I enjoyed this one.
