I toto pivo je nezaměnitelné chuti, taktéž je kvasnicové, nepasterizované, živé, nefiltrované a obsahuje vitamín "B". Samotné pivo je velmi chutné a jeho hořkost je rovněž velmi dobře vyvážena. Pivo se řadí mezi piva tmavá a jeho barva je skutečně tmavá tak jak zní jeho název.

Aroma: Chocolate, dark malts, very light dry-roasted.
Appearance: Dark brown-ruby color. Huge, brown head.
Taste: Medium sweet, light chocolate, light dry.
Palate: Medium body. Light dry finish.
Overall: Very nice dark lager.

(Draught at Pivovarsky Klub, Prague, 24 July 2015) Dark brown colour, almost black, with frothy beige head. Malty, roasted nose with chocolate, dark bread and coffee. Malty, roasted taste with notes of dark bread, chocolate, coffee and a gentle roasty bitterness. Medium body, with a certain malt sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Quite nice.

KEg at U Slovansky Lipy. Pours Dark Brown with a Foamy Cream coloured head. Coffee notes and Chocolate bitterness on the finish. Thick mouthfeel. A gratifying brew.

Tap at Hostinec Richtar Jakub, Bratislava. Very dark brown colored beer with thick beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, coffee. Roasted malt, coffee, caramel in taste. Coffee bitter finish.

Bottled @ Ruby dark color almost black. Smell after flowers and caramel. Caramel taste with uncomfortable sour medium tail. Could be bad bottle, don’t know, will try to taste once more.
