Commercial Description:
Dark ale. Moderately hopped, and a great flavour experience from the 5 different types of malts that are used. The beer is coarsely filtered and unpasteurized.

A red beer with a small beige disappearing head. The nose is sweet roasted and the flavor is sweet with a sour background, and OK malty. Definately not a Stout.

Bottled. Nut brown. Some caramel and flowers, light bodied. The mouthfeel is fairly hard. Low bitterness.

(Bottle 75 cl) Pours a beautiful dark orangey amber with a tiny, off-white head. Light-bodied with weak notes of roasted malt. Some acidity and a very discreet bitterness. Working your way through the whole Valdres range in one evening really should reward everybody with some sort of award. Thank you Yngwie. 100206

Amber-brown colour. Toasty, crackerlike aroma. Wet body. Caramel & toasty malts. Rather weak - not staut at all.
