On tap @ Valdres, Mathallen. This is a clear pale caramel-golden beer with a nice medium sized white and dense top. The aroma has clear caramel, some green apples, a little bit of butter (in a good way) and some sweet fruits. Not bad at all. It’s about average on the carbonation and the mouthfeel is light oily. More butter in the taste, I get tones of hay sweet corn and yeast. Not bad in any way, but it feels perhaps a bit to fresh in a strange way. Still, I approve as a thirst quencher on a lovely day in March. 01.03.2013

Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, sweet herbs, light apple. Flavour is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, old malt, sour malt and sour yeast notes. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20121110]

Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma has notes malt, caramel and apples. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is light, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

Bottle, 4.7% @ FOneFan. Slightly hazy dark yellow with small white head. Aroma is malt, fruit, apples, yeast and herbs. Flavour is malt, medium sweet, caramel, notes of apple, hop, little bitter and a little watery.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are malt, grass, fruits and hops.

Bottle. Slightly hazy dark orange with a small white head. Grainy aroma with nuts, grass, sourness. Taste of wet bread, metal and alcohol. Really, in a 4,7% beer the alcohol taste really shows, it shouldn’t. Sour and malty aftertaste.

Taste is balanced between sweetness and bitterness, and maybe a hint of sourness there as well. Floral aroma. A yellow or golden brew with a small white head. (Bottle)

Delt flaske hos Cardinal. Stilig patentflaske på 2 liter! Lys og dus i fargen, tett 1/2cm hvitt skum. Dette var ikke noe høydepunkt for kvelden, hvor de fleste fikk assosiasjoner med dårlig hjemmebrygget cider...

75 cl bottle from Vaaland, Bryne. Pours clear golden with a moderate sized creamy white head. Aroma of light sour malts, yeast and spices. Taste is better than suggested by the aroma, with some dusty and earthy malts, minimal sweetness, ends with this unpleasant sourness from the aroma. No thanks. Kitchen sink nest.
