Made me think of non-alcoholic wine. That’s not a good thing. At least - not in my book. I’m not reading a book.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask, handpump at The Hop Pole, Aylesbury, Bucks Pours black with light beige creamy head, ruby glints. Touch roasty but with big vanilla flavours, bit creamy, dry at end, main thoughts are roasty and creamy. An interesting take on and also slight improvement on what was already a decent beer.
