2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Typical UK Christmas beer that relies on a cool name and not so hilarious imagery on the tap handle, Santa boozed up is funny, but its a pretty ordinary ale. Those sorta dank , but sweet ,but fuggley hopped beers thats stocky and makes me wish I was drinking something else.

Cask Conditioned at Market Porter, London
Hazy dark amber color; thin creamy head. The aroma is simple. The flavor is basically caramel, with some light chocolate, and a yeasty touch, on the dry side; strangely the final is more refreshing than expected. Good.

Bottle. Fruity with a medium body. Well balanced and very very easy to drink.
As well as the fruitiness there were others subtle flavours present.Quite complex. My first from this brewery and if they are all like this then I look forward to trying others from them.

Quite a dark brown with a very small, cream head. Very traditional smelling not much to the aroma. A straight forward winter warmer rounded and highly drinkable. This would be a treat to find in a pub and if I did I’d stay all evening. malty and nutty

Bottle, that has been kicking around amongst my beer stash for far too long Pours dark brown slight murkiness to it (careless pouring) Big on maltiness in mouth and on nose, some dried fruits and nuts but little else, nice but Vale can and do, do better beers.
