Cask @ Montagu Pyke (JDW). Pours a slightly hazy gold, with a small off white head. Pine, citrus, mango, mandarin, light toffee and a slightly bitter finish

@Hop pole aylesbury. Nice pale colour, gold- orange, slight haze. Leafy tobacco orangey aroma. Light, not much malt, strong orangey flavour, watery empty finish then late earthy orangey bitterness that lasts well. Lacking body and malt guts. Lacking gravitas really. A bit one dimensionally citric but certainly not too sweet or sticky. Ok.

Cask-conditioned at the Three Tuns, Bristol 23/1/2011. Gold ion colour with a slight, white head. Grapefruit hop aroma. Pleasant, marmalade flavours, that grew more pronounced, with some sweetish malts and pleasantly dry finish. Enjoyable.

Bottle from The Wine Cellar, Lutterworth. Burnished gold with a pure white foam. Bright lemon and lime jelly, grassy hop aroma with a slight mineral edge. Lime and grassy hop, lemon wine gums, sweet cashew and crackers malt linger. Nothing fancy, but bags of ringing, zesty hop and biscuity malt. Good.

UPDATED: AUG 4, 2010 Cask; Great British Beer Festival 2010. Drunk with Fin!! Yes!! Lovely creamy head; excellent lacing, very soft carbanation, grapefruit, cherries, grain, floral hops and perfume! A sensational summer ale! Cheers.

[Cask at the Old Road Tavern, Chippenham] Slightly cloudy golden colour with a moderate white head. The strong and lasting initial bitterness was too much for me. Behind it I could just about discern lemon and maybe a bit of earth, but this beer was really not for me.
