Gravity at Rochester Sweeps Festival. Honey sweet with some soap. Gppd fruit notes edging on citric but sweeter like sweet tangerine or mango. Yes - mango.

Very nice, creamy foam and thick. It was not so bright but indeed goldy. I had it at GBBF 2008.

Cask, 4.8% at GBBF08. OK citric hop aroma. Hazy golden colour, good stable white head. Good citric flavour, a bit rough but nice.

(Cask at Market Porter, Borough, London, 8 Aug 2008) Golden colour with brief, white head. Fruity, fresh nose with notes of citrus and floral hops. Fruity, fresh taste with lots of citrus and a rather bitter finish with floral, citrussy hops. Medium body, balanced sweetness. Nice and refreshing beer.

A Mes rate: gravicask at GBBF.
Really bright gold with a thin white head. Sweetish and fruity with some very pleasant floral hoppage. Decent bitter finish with eventual earth and bread.

Cask at GBBF 08. Gold, thin white head. It’s a fine golden ale, some toffee, some hop, some fullness because of the alcohol. But ultimately a little empty. Some lemon flavour towards the end.
