JDW release notes: This mahogany-coloured best bitter has been brewed especially for this Wetherspoon real-ale festival. It has a floral blackcurrant-hedgerow aroma and a soft, spicy, peppery bitterness, followed by a smooth, warming finish. Hops used: Fuggles, Galena, Mount Hood Dec 2010 release notes: A selection of malts and four hop varieties from the USA and UK combine to produce a mahogany coloured bitter, with spicy notes. A smooth warming winter ale.
